A useful answer before the first request.
Choose the integration question you are working through. Each guide explains the actual contract, gives a practical next step, and keeps coverage and freshness limits visible.
Use the PrizePicks API with Python. ↗
Run a Python standard-library example for PrizePicks projections. Includes demo mode, Bearer authentication, cursor pagination, timeouts, and source timestamps.
Free accessStart with a free PrizePicks API plan. ↗
Compare the public fictional demo with the Free authenticated plan: 1,000 requests per month, 10 per minute, API keys, and honest data-coverage limits.
AuthenticationGet and manage your PrizePicks API key. ↗
Create and secure a prizepicksapi.com API key, authenticate with Bearer headers, rotate or revoke tokens, and understand account-wide request limits.
Observed historyPrizePicks historical data, with an honest start date. ↗
Inspect the actual retained observation window, projection history, and change events. Understand first-seen timestamps, gaps, and why this is not a retroactive archive.
NBA projectionsAn NBA player props API you can inspect. ↗
Inspect six actual stored NBA player-prop examples, observed market coverage, and freshness. Query projections, histories, and changes with a documented JSON API.
Data semanticsLooking for a PrizePicks odds API? ↗
Understand what a PrizePicks prop line provides and what it does not: side-level tiers, unknown multipliers, base-line semantics, and no invented sportsbook odds.
If you want the endpoint definitions rather than a walkthrough, start with the API reference and OpenAPI specification. The playground uses a separate fictional dataset for exploring the schema.
For retained data, inspect source health and observed coverage. The guides distinguish the free request allowance from an unrestricted feed, recorded history from a retroactive archive, and a base prop line from sportsbook odds. Those distinctions remain important after your first successful request.
Our field notes contain longer implementation guides and dated reports grounded in stored observations. Automated reports skip stale inputs and do not imply that every upstream change was collected.
PrizePicks API is an independent developer data service, not an official PrizePicks API or consumer-account integration.
